ABSTRACT Because of real worlds complexity, foresighting gets difficult for decision makers. While people can almost create ambiguous events in their minds and interpret them, computers that have been developed by humans can not process this ambiguity, they need numerical data. There are also linguistic informations in these ambiguous information sources. Although probability theories and statistics treats ambiguity, it isnt sufficient at linguistic information. Lütfi Askerzade Zadeh proposed fuzzy logic to deal with these ambiguities in 1965. Today we see that fuzzy logic finds application areas in diverse technological environment. In these application areas, there is also linear programming. In solving models which have noncrisp parameters, it has been utilized from fuzzy principles and crisp solutions were found. In this study, after explaining the fuzzy logic concepts, the solution procedure for fuzzy multiobjective transportation problem was proposed. A case study was done to illustrate the proposed solution procedure. With the help of extension principle, objectives were solved separately and fuzzy solutions were derived. After these steps, compromise solution was found by using fuzzy programming approach. However, the approach based on extension principle can not be used in the situations where objective function hasnt got any fuzzy coefficients.
