SELÇUK ÜNİVERSİTESİ SAĞLIK BİLİMLERİ ENSTİTÜSÜ Searching Stem Cell Population in Cumulus Oocyte Complex
Stem cell poses a high differantiation and poliferation capacity which is important for cell manipulation, cell terapies and applications. Till now on literature there is no any reserch on stem cell properties of cumulus cells which effects the development quality of oocytes.
Our city is done on 30 patients. Cumulus cells were obtained with hyaluronidase enzyme digestion just before microenjection process. After cell number adjustment 1000 cumulus cells were allocated to culture dish with 2cc medium. On 4. and 7. days culture medium was freshed. On 9. day the samples were stained with toluidin blue, closed with parafin oil. Colony groups (3-4 cells, 4-7 cells, etc.) was evaluated under inverted microskobe.
We grouped our result according to colony properties ( A for +10, B for 6-10, C as 3-6 cells). We obtained 16, 30 and 48 colonies for A,B and C classfication consequently.
We suggest that a higher number of patients with longer duration evaluation aseems helpful for a more proper conclusion. Our raw a more precise evaluation of infertility treatments.
